July 2012 Maralinga Airport - Installation of Runway and Taxiway Lighting

Airport Electrical were commissioned to design and construct a simple solar powered AGL system to allow for Emergency evacuations by the RFDS.

Maralinga Runway is over 45 metres wide and 2500 metres long with an apron over 500 metres wide.

At total of 106 Lights where installed to clearly define the runway and taxiway areas.
